As I said last night, I made week one kind of pathetic because I started half way through the week. Also, saturday is my birthday, so I am taking it easy.
Week:
Work out two times this week - I want to start working out, and I think short term goals will help me reach that. Work out has a very broad definition, basically if I'm active, I consider it working out. I plan to go kayaking on saturday, that will count for one. If I go to the gym in my apartment, go for a bike ride, rock climb, mountain bike, water ski, wake board, run, or anything where I'm not sitting on my ass, I will count it as a work out. I will probably have some form of workout goal each week.
Drink a beer I've never tried before - I wanted another goal for this week and since saturday is my birthday this seemed like a good goal.
Month:
Read "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People." - I decided a couple weeks ago that I wanted to start reading books that would change my outlook on life. This is a very well known book, so I figured I would start there. I have already started it and I'm really enjoying it. I highly recommend it. I want to finish it by the end of the month. I intend to toss a book on each month's goals. After I start back to school that may slow down.
File my Dissolution - I am in the process of getting divorced. I have been procrastinating this step and I want to stop. So I'm going to try to have it drawn up and filed by the end of the month.
Pick a School - I just graduated with my Associates in Electronics Engineering Technologies. I want to continue for a bachelors. I need to decide if I'm going to go for an EET degree or an EE degree. That decision will decide which school I attend.
Year:
Graduate - I put this on there because I already accomplished it and I wanted to put it on there.
Pay off my credit cards - I think this is obvious. I've got a decent amount of credit card debt and the interest rates are high, so I want to get rid of those first before my other debt from my marriage.
